Cricket - An Explanation

This was from one of those junk(forwarded) mail that I received from a friend of mine... some one has really thought to write a crap like this...!!

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game.

Fusion is common in todays lifestyle. Kurthas go with Jeans.. Dosa and Pizza for dinner... my new find in Malaysia.. Chindans (born to an Indian and Chinese)!! Then why not Cricket and Astrology? Thats perfectly what one of the popular astrology site has thought and did. It has combined astrology with cricket. The site has an interesting analysis of all the World Cup matches based on planetary position on the match day and their effects on playing countries and their players.

The site quotes "The GaneshaSpeaks Team presents a multidimensional analysis of the Cricket World Cup 2007. Considering the depth of the analysis, we can safely claim that this has never been attempted before." I'm quite sure that most of us may have never come across something like this before! It gives predictions from the toss to match result along with the crucial overs of the game. The site also claims that so far its match predictions are 77.6% accurate.

But as browsing through the site it will be amusing to see certain predictions. For example these ones..

• India's Fate for Super Eight Matches
  India's fate will heavily depend on the 4th game of the super eight matches. Toss will become very important and to chose bating/ balling will have strong impact over the game's outcome.
• West Indies might be the Dark Horse to win World Cup 2007.

This is the best one..!!

• If Australia reaches final they might not able to win.

With the way Australia is currently playing it might seem funny to read a prediction like that about the cricketing genuine.
